I’ve done it all before. Heard the knock. Checked the door. I died in a foxhole as a boy. Truculence leaks. Obstreperous ploys. So I fuss and fight and cry to sleep. Like a child. Like a sheep. I’ve done it all before. Tired; Or is there more? Does it fade, Or has it faded? Is it jade, Or have I jaded?
A beautiful use of words. Each line with a story.
"I died in a foxhole
as a boy.
Truculence leaks.
Obstreperous ploys."
I like the many questions in the poem. This is my kind of poetry. Create thoughts. Thank you for the excellent poem.

Poetry, oh poet me! Must I decipher lines?
It is nothing but stream of consciousness.
