Water

Water

A Poem by Molly Eastman
"

It's not real poetry, but I hope you enjoy nonetheless.

"

Oh how

Elegantly

Fluidly

And silkily

Like milk

It pours

Pretentiously

In a pool

On the ground

Draining down

Druid-like

And seeping

Creeping deep

Into the plowed earth

And the plants

With roots like lances

Languidly lap up

To supply food

For the blooms

Swaying softly

In a sweltering

Summer breeze that

Ruffles the trees

It's kind of stupid I know, but I hadn't posted anything in a very long time and this was the only finished thing in my documents file.
