A Poem by Molly Cara

You can put away your microscope

Your magnifying glass and your

Binoculars you can shelve them away for

The young who have yet

To come into this world

And find it

Translucent.

You and I darkle

Even as points of light rise

In the sky

Our seasons have begun to bleed

Into our times

Of day

Do you measure?

Can you recite

The distance between Now

And Never?
