On Faith

On Faith

A Poem by Molly Cara

Faith is infinite patience

And how long did you wait

To come into this world?

My favorite game is

To seek you where you

Couldn’t possibly be;

I always see the familiar in the

Unfamiliar.

Why have faith?

You’ll find it’s better

To mistake the enemy

For an ally

Than to misapprehend a friend.

There is much behind this. I read it twice and paused to think many times. Exquisite.
