55-word story, inspired by The Lady or the Tiger

"

She gestured to the right, and he nodded.  His breath held in, he walked toward the doors.  Couldn't she be trusted?  He refused to look back in fear.  With a steady hand, he pointed right.
 
The door creaked open as his lover shrieked, her voice penetrating the silent amphitheater.  "I was waving a fly away!"

That's another funny little piece. This 55 word story idea is interesting. I'll have to give it a shot sometime. It'll be a nice train wreck of fun. :)
