The Folly of AgeA Poem by QuillWhat changes does teenage not bring in us!
My dolls had been my friends,
In the winter mornings, In the summer dawns, And in the rainy hours, But my unmindful age pretends, Don't go near them! You're a big girl now You have grown, grown to be twelve Dolls don't suit you anymore,Mohor! Games,tic-tac-toe, X and knot For them,I wasn't rarely sought But not knowing am I, What lesson so high, my pestering age taught That I despise playing them, I feel so timid I feel so ashamed, What worry this age brought! Why age, Why did you kill my spree? why did you do this to me? © 2017 QuillAuthor's Note
