What you see Has gone through so many filters That by the time it is deemed ready to reach your eyes It has begun to represent a completely different idea altogether.
This is not a failure, but a work of art. I'm not sure what to think, what to see or what to feel.. which only makes this so much more intriguing. Well done, you have talent even in short poem's as such. Continue on with your works, they are pleasing to read.
worked for me, I'm supposed to wear glasses all the time but sadly I'm a big fat slacker and I think I look like a dork with them so I avoid wearing them.
Can read it but that doesn't mean you've not succeeded in making a very clever point .. creation, after all, is in the eye of the beholder - and a visionary is inevitably ahead of the masses. :)
I like this! In my opinion, you've spelled out the concept of misunderstanding and the flaw of judging each other, in a creative way. But thats just me, your meaning is probably different..
This reminds me of the light from distant stars coming from light-years away. Who knows whether they even exist today? The same can be said for what happens between the initial inspiration for a poem and the final writing.
I like this piece. It speaks about all of the filters we use when writing, talking, etc. I know that sometimes I will write a piece and then edit just in case someone sees, or for a certain audience. 90% of the time I just say f**k it and I will keep it how I like it. Sometimes the filters are good but I would rather be hated for what I say then loved for what I don't say/type. Great job!
