Sweet tequila kisses could break the stone table

Sweet tequila kisses could break the stone table

A Poem by XxxModifyTheMassesxxX

Slowly it's sinks in. You two conjoining, sharing a moment behind my back.
As he feels your touch, your lips, your breathing down his neck.
I'm missing you, the scent you leave when I held you close
But where were you when I needed you the most

In his lap you showed how much you loved me
With each catch of breath you showed you cared
And you come to me, like you weren't there (with him)
You bring me down

So different I thought you were
To have in me but it's not what you preferred.
Was I enough or am I just another toy ?

You say you understood the way I felt.
Like we came from the same past
But to pull this act and still look me in the eyes.
I believed and handed it out
How naive was I?
For...

In his lap you showed how much you loved me
With each catch of breath you showed you cared
And you come to me, like you weren't there (with him)
You bring me down

So was it worth the drink and seeing me crumble before your presence?

this feels more lyrical rather than poetry. i do like the subject though how you structured it. seems like it happened to you before. again a good write, well done
