The thirsty kneel upon the empty

The thirsty kneel upon the empty

A Poem by XxxModifyTheMassesxxX

Day in and day out, I carry this weight on my shoulders.
It tries to hold me down but I manage to hold up.
Many say they wait for the rain to cry, so no one would notice
But I just keep in the shadows, for darkness seems to heal this.
F**k society and people, the ones who want to know me.
Where is the trust if I can't trust my own family.
The ones who are supposed to there the most
Are the ones persuading you into becoming a ghost.
So keep a smile, don't frown
They'll love it when your down.
It quenches their thirst of revealing your demise.
With a grin you'll send the damned to the grave, but with the blade
It's just a fucked up reminder, of the cursed day...
