Race-Is-EmA Poem by PoeticFuryI wanted to touch on an issue that has clearly yet to dieBlack.... White... Purple.... Brown... Red.... Why do we still judge on something that has been fought for. That people have tried there hardest to give us equal rights for, and the price they paid was the ultimate dead. Race is not a race it is for us to get along as one. Forget who comes first, second, or not even worrying about something else in the term if I may say third place. Last time I check we all consists of being known as human. Instead of having a reason not to like someone people say it and act like they mean it cause they simply are assuming. At the same time confusing and abusing one's pride and self esteem. How mean can one be? To the point they are afraid to close there eyes, and look at themselves in the mirror and question their color. At the same time hear those same things in their dreams. What is color? In terms of meaning? An outward, or token appearance or form that is misleading. We should not judge on color. We should look at each and everyone of us as a sister, or a brother. To look above and help those below. To say that you love any and everyone, and don'thesitate to show. Put a smile on someones face tell someone that I like what you are doing, and how you look nice. The power of a smile can put on such a glow. This is not about leaving people out. To me this is about bringing people in. Please no need to haveRacism let's not go through this anymore I don't want to hear about it again. © 2011 PoeticFuryAuthor's Note
