Thank You My First Heartbreak

Thank You My First Heartbreak

A Poem by PoeticFury
"

i learned from it

"

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for thinking that love was a game.

Thank you for breaking my heart into two. Cause without you I would have never been able to know and feel not true love, but true pain.

Without you I would have never been able to dislike and hate ways. I thank you for showing that you can't do wrong without getting it back.

That it can actually happen its not just a phase.

Thank you for showing me how to recognize a lie through innocent eyes.

Thank you for being fake instead of real.

Not to mention saying I don't want to talk to you again on my birthday.

That was my favorite gift and surprise .

Thanks to you I know that when it comes to people like you. The person who is dealing with you has to buckle up.

Because you are a all around trip that comes with a free ride.

Thanks to your act; you taught me to get ready for more like you.

Not so quick to worry about them turning theirs, but you showed me not to be quick to put trust in people and then turn my back.

Thanks for using me as a step.

Showing that all that glitter is not gold.

Know in my heart and soul there is a spot that you from me.

........ I have kept.

Thank you for my first heartbreak cause I'm now ready for more of you if they pass my way.

I'm using my foot and you are the ball consider all the fake that you have to be intercepted.
