Dearest

Dearest

A Poem by modtoddinc

I’ve always searched for one
Who could hold my love.
Most definitely a woman, the
Strong, nurturing mother type.

Mamma was a boy
I was a toy,
But it was a good childhood
Fun and free

Real life came later before
You came into me
I felt, dealt, swindled and killed
Before you, I willed.

Yet I failed and wailed,
Returned to the darkest
deepest forest of all
Will I make everything fail and fall?

I hold on to a string
The theory of things
The absolute truths yet to
Find roots

And I LOVE you, and you, and you
All over again
Until the beginning
When we were all
winning?

I am beyond grateful for
Not feeling hateful,
Because I Am Love
The son of a dove.

Given to earth through thrust
And rebirth
Forgotten and Shamed for being alive.

Survived the abuse to serve only more,
Yet a living, loving mother
of two;
whom she adores.

I am the son of the Sun
The daughter of the Moon,
I encompass all that I Am
Both man and son.

Father as well.

I am yours true for your moon
I am yours true for your sun
I am a child
I am a man
I am a father

I am HUMAN WHOA! MAN.

Definitely shows that there are different types of love, and I really liked the metaphors you used - sun and moon atc . . .

Nice flow of words and thoughts. Felt like a Army cadence song. I was singing with the words. Thank you my friend for sharing the amazing poetry.
