Ever Constant Moon

Inspired by love

You remind me

inspiring the Sun to rise

reflecting my eye

as the moon of disguise

Birth in the moment

Moon rise, sunset

What is more magnificent than finding a star?

Falling afar?

from the truth within you

yet closer to heart

Love endures through time and space,

circumstances and memories erased

we create who we are

by crashing the stars

I've fallen in love with a wonderful thing

something that everyone on earth can bring

The truth of empathy

and the eternal sting

The moment of birth

Sunrise, moon set 

The glow of our soul

with all our sadness and pain

reminds us about life again and again

Presented as gifts

refused so often

only the lonely are truly forgotten

ascend another to lift a spirit 

The waves of birth

of Ebb and Flow

Yin and Yang and all we know

Earth our entire universe

 

Falling in love when you least expect it and

sharing the dream of the less connected

Being of kind to help us remind

the Man and the Woman true humankind

I've climbed the mountain 

dived the sea

only to ever be with thee

Now I stand before you

Am I true?
