An ode to Mother's Day and dedicated to the mom's in my life.

A Mother’s Love

Through her tears we receive quiet understanding, empathy and joy,

From her soil, she feeds us with patience, common-sense and truth,

Her words and kiss breathe life into us along the path,

While her look provides us with assurance and courage, to grow

The warmth of her arms takes away every danger, and nurtures our very soul

She gives us the gift of space to be ourselves and become our own,

And through the ages of time

She is always near and dear in honor and humility

Towards life and well-being for all
