The understanding that many follow is not my way,

creation and those who swallow the path given

is not my sway,

I am a profit;

of my times:

just take a look at all my crimes,

I am forsaken for my rhymes,

I am your pity in your times...

Yet never will I give in to your sin of dishonest complacency, your very justification of existing,

 

Towards us who suffer,

 
It is incomprehensible how you take advantage of the vulnerable,

the absolute priest of being is still unseeing

because everyone gets caught up in all this seeing.

I agree with this fully. I don't understand people who walk over others just to get ahead instead of helping them up the ladder. It's just incomprehensible to me. Maybe that's because I'm not as intelligent as I like to think I am...but I don't believe that indecency and taking advantage of those below and around them is, has been, or will every be the correct way to get "ahead" in life.

Great piece. I love the rhyme scheme and the theme is something I can relate to strongly, if you couldn't already tell lol. Thanks very much for sharing this with me :)

I like this, So many of these social media sights have become all about ME, selfies,photos portraying only their best! I first joined it to connect with my family and be part of their day that i miss so much but now its bombarded with how many miles someone ran or what they ate for dinner!
Sorry ranting on but this it so true and a great write!
