Love Presently

Love Presently

A Poem by modtoddinc
"

A love poem; in relationship and for the world

"
The roasted potato kiss of your sweet, soft lips, as we
become closer after the breaking of bread,

The sweet aroma of cinnamon in your hair as we lay together under silk sheets and softly discuss our dreams,

The feeling of peaches in our hands held tenderly while we walk the path of a shady river and look towards our future,

Ours is the natural life giving love of blessed souls reunited presently,
Just to be...

This exquisite gift; for all to behold whilst we endure the psalms of each day's suffering throughout our world,

Love:
The love we share in the simplest of ways,

Will take us all beyond the stars into the heavens and gently lay us back upon this earth, as one body.

lol
I was having an "i am fed up moment" pouting
my speakers are hooked to the laptop
so the song literally made me jump lol
Beautiful write
There's nothing like laying there in the arms on that guy
Looking up
seeing stars on the ceiling
dreaming
being happy
Ofcourse he would have to be there ....... get on a plane
and stop sleeping all the time
oh my

Everyone seems to be writing love poems lately; maybe I need to hop onto the bandwagon and join in, haha. Love poems used to be almost all I would write, but I've veered away from it lately.

This is very wonderful, to say the least. Love is one of the most powerful feelings that exist, if not the most powerful, in my opinion.

Beautiful. I wish I had this sort of love and poetry like this makes me swoon a little too easy for people who are not my boyfriend haha. Absolutely lovely write, thank you for sharing!

Todd, A perfect illustration of how a strong love can transcend the ugliness in the world and envelop two people in a gently and breezy cocoon of bliss. A very sublime write, thanks for sharing with all of us. take care...dan

The way you added other elements, such as food, in this piece truly worked. It added something extra special I wasn't expecting. Nice work!
