![]() Stained Glass TearsA Poem by modtoddinc![]() Contest entry poem using The Weeping Woman by, Picasso![]()
Eyes wander jagged and black
Flesh peels against death’s back
Corrosive tears reveal hard white bone
As shards of glass fall through cracks,
Inside pain; a punch to the stomach,
Chewed up feelings; pulp and grumble
The raw suffering screams of a broken woman,
These daggers point to heaven,
While the mourning continues, without end,
And she holds the world to her bosom.
