'Cause in my heart I loved you.

'Cause in my heart I loved you.

A Poem by Mocomi

Dedicated to those who failed in their love stories. :)

"

‘Cause in my heart I loved you.

Remember when we swore and said ‘I love you, never deny that.’
But now, you’re taking it back and said ‘I never said that.’
What just happened?
Has your memory shortened?

And now my heart is breaking,
and I can’t stop crying.
I want to be strong again
but I can’t gain it.

Because you are my strength, I won’t keep it
I loved you, but you threw it
you wasted everything
you think it has no meaning

But to me you’re what I wanted
just safe, in your arms I’m cuddled
In restless night, with you I’m secured
With passion I’m handled

But, I have no choice
No time to rejoice.
It is time to move on,
‘Cause with you I’m all gone.

But,’ll be soon be over you.
I’ll mend my heart in just a few
don’t say I doubt you
‘cause in my heart I loved you.

This is a good one. There is a natural flow of emotions when faced with denial of love and you have brought it out in a good way. I am glad that you are optimistic about mending your heart soon and moving on.

Good work!
