Is the world really there? do we just merely exist on this planet? I like to think that we do.
Very interesting read, I enjoyed this.

That is a very sound write you put some great thought in all.Maybe there is nothing but a void
And the smell of fire! I find that pretty wow but afraid to really speak in an open form about but I do understand it:)
The picture, the music and the poetical intertwining of your words create of wonderment of thought provoking imagery! This is my kind of poetic art form - questioning, probing and challenging the reader to think out side the box - excellent! :-)
you write with depth of meaning. i think a large amount of reality is based on our perception. we each possess an ability to shape and mold as we live the life we imagine. you write very well ... :)
Are we a collective consciousness? Are we in a simulation? Is there a parallel universe blending into ours distorting our reality? hmmm . . . thing I dwell on myself.
Great write my dear friend.
Take care Ana.

I love your writing, your message, & your rhyming (within lines & at the end of lines). I love the nuanced suggestion that each of our worlds is possibly impacted greatly by other people's madnesses (an idea that's deeply embedded in the USA politics lately). This is exactly how it feels when things are spinning out of control, yet we try to hang on to some semblance of reason (((HUGS))) fondly, Margie

Dear Margie, as ever, you are too kind to me. Thank you for the beautiful review :-)
First, that beautiful music leads the mind into the visual. So, trapping us gently in your forthcoming words. Such a subtle beckoning, Ana B... lady of tiny steps quickly reaching the Somewhere.
'Maybe there is nothing but a void ~ And the smell of fire, ~ A schizophrenia, slightly paranoid ~
creature, with its pocket versifier. .. '
Your phrasing is so gently laid, a 'come hither, reader', sort of invitation to stop a while, nod a little and just maybe, return to your gentle wording's start and wonder why. Perhaps. Not sure whether or not you're telling us what YOU think and feel then, leave the reader to stay dormant yet dream of time.. and its presence.
' A schizophrenia, slightly paranoid~ creature, with its pocket versifier.. ' Do we listen to mayhem's screams or.. listen for reality, Perhaps?

i am captivated by your poem ana ... on the third read through listened to Bach as i read ..pretty incredible experience for me! we have the poet musing on existence ... striving to stay true to what ever persona is chosen .. itself perhaps false .. a calm acceptance of a schizophrenic versifier ... perhaps all that "is" ..Bach is still playing ..the irony in closing ... with eyes closed who can really say? ..i really like everything you have offered in this poem ..words, pic and music... all too cool for school ma'am

ps. and for me your title suggests that line of balance from which the waves roll up and down ;)))
