Wow I am speechless and when a poet becomes speechless it means a greatness within. It means what they just saw was so divine there are no words like awesome great wonderful. All I can say was this was very beautiful:)
I see the beautiful scar of an axed tree trunk: the passing of time, the darkness of this and that happening. You use words as if born with them, describe emotions most don't even feel... happiness almost too much to bear, but the need to experience whatever's in offer, prepared to share.

Reminding: its the world and me - an incandescent duet.'

Enjoyed the rhythm. It almost felt like a tumbling down.

"the everpresent, tired divinity"
Great phrase.
This piece also does a great job of engaging the tactile...it contrasts well...sunshine, ribcages, floral scents and bitter tongues...
Lots to chew on.

"The weight of sunshine is a heavy thing,
Continuous pressure on the ribcage.
A meager dot in this never ending string
is our time to perform on this stage…"
This stanza read like a punch to the gut. Strong, swift, and not without meaning. Strong write, Ana. Beautiful.
Amazing poetry dear Ana.
"A floral smell, yet bitter taste
Have these lovely songs
That keep playing with no haste

I love the above lines. Honest, direct and rue emotions. Thank you for sharing your words and thoughts

Interesting word choices, and the tattoo in the picture looks very artistic! My favourite lines would be - "In this grey life, grey town
You’re so blue - the other shore"
The weight of sunshine, of being the cheerful one always, can indeed be heavy sometimes.
Side b**b! Not nearly as distracting as your words, though.
Sunlight can carry a burden. Weighing down our hidden smiles. Butterflies keeping us from dancing on the stage. Their attracted to floral smells, and dance on the bitter.....staying for the songs...
