Mocking longing

Mocking longing

A Poem by Ana B.

Silent is the moonlight by my side,

While I’m writing down my sins.

She’s got an ancient voice  -  my pride

Yet can’t help going in for the last rinse

Because time is running dry.

Will we ever stop longing for wider suns…

With venomous words… so eager to petrify

Those hearts that were so pure once.

And I’m still looking for fissures

Somewhere in those sketches of fate,

Satiated of those love-wishers

Who excelled to imitate so great

What the architect of mind has hidden.

Thank you Abraham :)
great last line...yes, the architecture of what we destroy....parts of ourselves little by little come apart....we need fusion to get ourselves back together...and those who imitated love....really fooled us well, yet we fool ourselves, the best.
