RavensA Poem by Ana B.In Greek mythology, ravens are associated with Apollo, the god of prophecy. They are said to be a symbol of good luck, and were the god's messengers in the mortal world.
Full moon through my
veins As a cenotaph of my
dreams… So eager to adulate
the names We adopted with
graceful ease.
Titles, names…has it
ever mattered? Everything must
perish eventually And if the atoms that
are scattered Have to cross the
Universe Inevitably Affectionately Delicately Indefinitely …. So
shall it be.
And under the
moonlight’s hiss Don’t we wander in
this praetorian city? One sure thing we
succeeded is Polish our sufferings
till they look pretty.
