The alluring rock of life

The alluring rock of life

A Poem by Ana B.

This love is silent,

With music as the moral law.

A sable diamond

In a world covered by snow.

I will never know why

Some are born unhappy.

Obviously only a few can qualify

For the prize we want so badly.

I have yet to conquer my mind

Before I leave this world…

                  But for now

Ill borrow your sins for tonight

And sway under the music, unperturbed.

Wow I can't take my eyes of the image - I seen the sculptors work I think on TV - Jesus laid out covered in a shroud - I think - and it was equally mesmerising.

Is true love rationed - are we all trying to tear enough bread to fill us from a finite loaf and why do we give an erstwhile stranger the keys to our happiness anyway? I'd say we are hardwired (pardon the pun) to procreate but to fall in love too or is that something we get drummed into us from an early age (e.g. Disney Prince Charming programming)
One things for sure Ana - once you get beat over the head with said rock a few times you soon come to your senses ;D
I shall now listen to the music...
