The alluring rock of life

The alluring rock of life

A Poem by Ana B.

This love is silent,

With music as the moral law.

A sable diamond

In a world covered by snow.

I will never know why

Some are born unhappy.

Obviously only a few can qualify

For the prize we want so badly.

I have yet to conquer my mind

Before I leave this world…

                  But for now

Ill borrow your sins for tonight

And sway under the music, unperturbed.

Thank you :)
But what is the prize? Perhaps some are born with it and it can never be won only lusted after by others.

You are welcome dear Ana.
lot of thought and emotions have been put in this write. I get that feel from this..life is fascinating and intriguing. Beauty of life would never have been appreciated if there were all good things happenings around. Life has its value because of the difficulties we face. Greatly penned.
I loved reading this work of yours :-)
Thanks for sharing.

Thank you very much David. I'm glad you liked it :)
This has a melodic chant with a mystic flow in and around it. Love the first Stanz,it speak so much volume in four simple lines. The image is eerily captivating... A fine poem Miss Ana, very cool, EG.

Thank you very much :)
This is beautifully written, Ana :-)
Second stanza is very true to the life..
If you want something you should work hard to get that thing..Facets of life are always mystifying, instead of reasonings we should look for our own directions.
I love the last stanza too...that's how I feel...I have to conquer the world...yeah, but let me hear the music now ;-)
An uplifting write that enchants you in its beauty :-)
Wonderful and alluring piece!

Thank you Gullia :)
this runs in line with the book I am reading 'Reasons to stay alive'by Matt Haig - such a fantastic book!! I have a friend who is bi-polar, food addictive and a depressive. I bought this book to try and see life through her eyes as I am one of the luck few who know how to turn light into love - for a long time I could never understand why and how people could not see the benifits of life ... it is clear now that even though we are all the same humans we are all very different beings ... wait for the cloud to pass, sunshine is always there :)
