Oracular ferments

Oracular ferments

A Poem by Ana B.

Sweet wars

In driver-less cars…

No remorse

Can be found under the stars.

Age is a strange thing…

Seemingly homodox

But look at the wine and milk

And find out where fate dissolves

And gives you the reign.

A great poem as always. I like the image you used to accompany your words. It truly gives the impression of a traveler wandering through his mind and sharing his thoughts with the reader. Great job, Ana!

You are welcome dear Ana.
Dear Ana,
these words bring me wonderment. There is a benign conflict betwixt...
my false impression and your true intent.
Do love your imagery, for I always love your carefully chosen imagery, but must needs plead ignorance to the origin and destination of this dear poem. Forgiveness please.

Thank you Kevin, no worries :)
At first glance I thought oracular was ocular (as in Oculus Rift) and thought this to be a technophiles idea of heaven with VR headsets and its drone motorcars.
But Google was my friend and I see that oracular relates to the ancient source of wisdom.
Coming of age was then my thoughts and how the wine will get better but the milk will sour with age and thus with age the wine will reign - although you'll not get as much cheese from vino.
Certainly not as much cheese as a T.J. review eh?

A departure from your trademark Ninth Dan rhyming. A cheeky wee number with an excellent bouquet on the nose here Ana. :DD
