10 seconds till sunrise

10 seconds till sunrise

A Poem by Ana B.

Subtle working has this silicon veil…

Clouding Archeus’  bashful effulgence,

All of us living in our homemade jail

Feeding off the commiserations indulgence…

Throwing digital daggers at each other

With spectacular opulence.

Tears of sulfur we gather

With words as our eternal monuments.

And in this culture of fear

How talented is death -

The true sincerity’s emir

To whom we’re not  afraid to confess…

Author's Note

Ana B.
Archeus - is also called the Anima Mundi, Soul of the World, Spirit of the World, The Transitive LVX, The Path of Saturn (connecting Malkuth and Yesod in the system of Jewish mysticism called the Kabbalah), the Earth Sphere and the Zone Girdling the Earth. It is also sometimes simply called the lower astral sphere, or the "geographic" region of it, as everything in the Archeus parallels physical manifestation.

Your philosophical message is not fully understood by a simpleton like me, but I love your amazing word-crafting! "living in our homemade jail" (a startlingly honest observation) . . . and "throwing digital daggers" (again, so brilliantly stated!) I very much dislike living in "a culture of fear" which has become even more exaggerated in the USA since the 2016 election. So much to think about here! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Hi Jada, thanks, i will definitely check it out :)
A very solemn and profound piece of poetry, you got here. It really speaks about an important matter. My only qualm is that I'm not sure the title is right for it, for such a title gives the impression that it's about something deeper, more philosophical that what it's implying (even the artwork at the bottom adds to that effect). It's a good poem as is, I just don't find the sense in the title, and that the title could itself headline a whole other poem you could write.

In cyberworld, genuine fellowship and even the sincerity of the common handshake have no relevance, a quasi, artificial existence bereft of human endeavour and kindred spirit!

A finely penned philosophical, poetic analogy, with a concluding and compromising, common dominator were none shall escape!

Thanks Gullia :)
I liked the words and thoughts. Artwork is beautiful also. The statements in the poem made the reader think and ponder. Life, actions and ending. Please we must learn and understand.

The above lines. Solid and true. Thank you Ana for sharing the outstanding poetry.
