Scribbles on a soul…

About the unfairness of life

But isn’t life just a casserole?

Baked long enough…but never quite right?

 

Something’s missing.

A ‘’she’’ ? A ‘’He’’ ? A  ‘’Them’’ ?

My voice sounds unconvincing

Every noise  as always -  eadem…

 

So I go to the midnight’s gates

And borrow the mask

So I could show my true face

And dare myself to ask

 

If I’m  alive enough.

I suppose "enough" might be adequately answered only by each of us through our individual degrees of passionate depths, ideals, and needs, etc; but, you've most certainly given cause to contemplate my own life's casserole, and that photo — sheer enchantment!
