Abandoned flakes

Abandoned flakes

A Poem by Ana B.

Didn’t have the heart

To stop the rain

That’s splitting apart

Placidity’s frame…

That rests on the table…

With photos in darkness…

The darkness that’s faithful

To the beautiful oddness

That adorns this succession

Of smoky evenings…

Wearing that same expression…

Rain sorting those feelings

That aren’t mine for keeping.

the whole thing is just an ouroboros ... i guess when we'll break the circle, then we will now.

"the beautiful oddness" is interesting to me...i just read dean koontz' novel, Saint Odd....

the last in the series...he had an Oddness...a beautiful oddness.

Most Welcome :)
Your poems use to revolve around nature and this poem is no exception... i always wonder how you can relate nature to your feelings and present it like this... another brilliant work....

Thank you very much Daisy :)
Such a beautiful flow to this; and the ending is like the moment when the rain stops.

Really enjoyed the read. Beccy.
