A Poem by Ana B.

The world showed me obscurity

And made me master of my choice.

My dream living with absolute credulity

That I know the sound of my voice…

That I know the flavor of the rain

That dances on the leaves…

That I’ll never have this day again….

Endlessly trying to appease

The sins I have as a descent

Of eons of blindness

Cause life will never be content

If you only treat it with kindness.

The world showed me brilliancy

And made me master of my choice.

The flavor of your thoughts is poignant and rightly "seasoned".

chuckling here ...yes, it does at that... good afternoon Ana.
I liked the thoughts and the wisdom in the words.
"The world showed me brilliancy
And made me master of my choice."
I agree Ana. We decide our journey good or bad. I liked the above statement. Thank you for sharing your amazing poetry.

You are welcome Ana.
Shorty descriptive with few wondrous words!

Liked the anticipation of "Master of choice". Profoundly written! When two spirits're infatuated with love, it's way easy to "say" everything but when it comes to "doing-s", even the love seemed to be turned around. Nice thoughts you've shaped in words!

Interesting insight :) thank you again Adams.
The world is indeed a gift dogs leave on lawns. The world will show us a thing and allow us to choose, but the choice is really a dilemma, because whatever we choose will bring some form of harm to us.
I love this intricate poet, Ana. It begins and ends with the 'big picture' and is seasoned in the middle with the little pictures that link our days into lifetimes. Your Muse has been busy, yes?

My pleasure, dear poet.
To use a quote, To choose or not to choose, that is the question.. And so it is with life, to veer safely or blindly, to adventure or to ignore the safety of home. Freedom of mind and flight is a gift, to make one's own choice is... more than.

Such finely placed words, such super-wise content.

You're welcome, Ana.
we are all masters of our own choices, and sometimes victims of those choices, but i will treat each choice with as much kindness as possible...easier to sleep at night that way...

nicely expressed, and good to read you again...you have been absent.

Thank you very much Jacob, i appreciate you noticing my attendance here :)
Wittily written Ana, I love how you attacked this with such force!
Personally, I feel that I am defined by the choices I make in the moments presented to me and it does have to be masted. To be put in a spotlight that'll display my integrity and true greatness...
