Purple skies

Purple skies

A Poem by Ana B.

Submerging in the ocean of beauty

On the wings of a dream…

And watching mutely

How life changes the theme…

Then the dusk playing

Carousel with the cappuccino clouds …

Flowers beautifully swaying

This city’s tired frowns

So if it snows

With the petals of that dream

Even the heart that froze

Melts over this incredible routine…

The blossoms are spectacular...

Quite a pathway for daydreams and night wishes.

now who's spoiling who?
mother nature will cheer us up, if others can't....again i just love your use of near rhyme in your poems....you are so deft at using it...

Thank you very much Jacob :)

This is grand...touch of snow, touch of color...yet the final line is just a bit calculated. Otherwise fantastic. I enjoyed reading this.
