Between the blinks

Between the blinks

A Poem by Ana B.

The moon is playing

Ultimatums with the brain…

 Smoking and portraying

Her cinder clouds again…

I lay smiling

On the tapestry of the blueberry forests…

Softest clouds rhyming

With the sky’s best florists

So that eyes could witness

This world’s daily rebirth…

With incredible stillness

A new life is served…

Very apt selection of words. Not a word more, not a word less. Just perfect. Best line that i liked " Sky's best florist".
Fantastic photographs to accompany this master-piece poem.

The thoracic vertebrae and the scapula are so visible in the photo, it is sheer beauty.
A classic symphony of the PEN and CAMERA.
Great going, keep it up.

Thank you very much :)
Just simply superb to no degree! Superb! Bravo! It reminds me of a time whilst I was on a particularly devious excursion to Kairouan in French Tunisia. I was giving a local chap the most gentle of a horsewhipping as it was Sunday, the Lord's day, when a most interesting spectacle caught my eye. High in the Saharan sky was a small dot of a person, so far up that ascertaining the identity would not be easy, no sir! Then, I realized that it was, in fact, my own body that was floating high above. At once, I notified the local scientific and social and scientific institutions to discuss the best method to bring my body to the earth once again. So there we were, Ol' Bean, all of us equipped with looking glasses, gazing upward in an effort to relocate my body in the sky. After nearly three hours of this, we discovered a piece of dust upon the lens of the one of the looking glasses and realized we had all been fools! Fortunately, I take my ether these days on a serviette in my sitting room in the accompaniment of my maidservants! Bully!

I'm glad you enjoyed, thank you :)
I agree about the photography - its compositions and renderings... the bottom one in particular.

I do see different images within your words... but that is what poetry is about.

A lovely write, showing the greatly under appreciated moments that are happening all around us.
Only if we would take a moment more often and just gaze and soak up the beauty that the world offers us.
Amazing write Ana!
