If so...

If so...

A Poem by Ana B.

Following the time’s sweeping meander

In the kingdom of my thoughts…

With streets that smell like coriander

And roads of chili sauce…

Counting the seconds

Until time will cease to exist…

In a world with no weapons

Just a formless mist…

Or maybe there was never time

Only it’s form…

The stars playing mime

With the emptiness’s storm…

Thank you my wonderful friend :)

Measured complexity, fine lines drawn between is and might be. Wandering wondering, a nice work of poetic whimsies. Exceptional.

Thank you Siegried :)
I really enjoyed reading this poem. There's a subtle placed message within which makes it all the more powerful. I believe there is something rather eerie about looking up at stars that now cease to exist. the sky is full of star ghosts, haha!

:) true to that, thank you very much Ellen :)
The way you beautifully inter-mixed formal and informal words in your poetry bring out a fresh outlook. Such poems always refresh the reader and give an important message subtly as well. I appreciate your work. Good luck. Happy writing. :)

I like some old poem words. The world will go out with a whisper, not a explosion. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.

:) Thank you very very much my friend :D
love the taste of chili sauce in chinese foods and how well it would go with a peaceful world, if only we could put away the hate and war and live on streets of coriander...Willard said pretty much what my reaction was to this lovely piece.
