Alchemy

Alchemy

A Poem by Ana B.
"

a M.A.G.I.C. compilation

"

Racing on the chariot of secrets

And souls forsaken…

Those corners of the Universe’s limits

With no truth to be mistaken…

The Black Assassin holding his treasure

Through the boulevards of time…

Treasure with no price, treasure with no measure…

Molded gold from hearts of wine

That breath of gold…

Will it save me?

Truth to be told

I am my only enemy…

So it’s pointless to turn my heart to gold…

Just trading stone for metal…

So how can the coldest cold

Give birth to the most delicate petal

Of virtue?

"Bejeweled" is the word I would use to describe your poetry, Ana. I find jewels and gems among the deep and mocking lines.

"Just trading stone for metal…"

I love that imagery. Bejeweled, bejeweled ... (Ana B)ejeweled.
