Dynasty

a wee dramatic old scribble

Between the clouds maker

And the master of shadows

The army of sky breakers

Release their night-dipped arrows

 

So that in the forgotten realms

Some light will shine

And the daughters of wars

Some corners of peace could find

 

Some sketches of hope…

A balm for their shadow kissed soul

The magic that a fantasy can evoke

To erase all that the darkness stole

 

No legions of faith and armies of moonlight

Can do it for us…

Cause only we can find the hidden delight

And the edges of this eternal contrast…

 

Through Devil’s eyes

Our soul is corrupt with stealth,

But no matter how hard we try

The truth unravels by itself.

By and large we have enough tools to help us steer the right course but unfortunately being human makes us very dodgy captains - even of our own soul - legion are the obstacles (temptations). I am confused by the title and wonder if it would wear the title 'Destiny' better?
The language is so eloquent it feels as if it belongs to another time - a time of scribes and soothsayers.
A superior write all in all.
