a bit philosophical one....

The men who swim against the flow

Will always know the strength of it

Because only those are the ones who’ll know

Which steps to follow and which ones to omit…

 

Close enough to touch the sun

And still to not get burned

This light possessed by no one

That has had our hearts so warmed…

 

Smile for me, the stretching emptiness

After all, all that it is, was empty before

Now filled with joy and happiness

Waiting to stretch further and always more…

 

The nights of a dreamer…

The roads of a pilgrim…

The strength of a winner…

All of them within…..

   …….me.

Swimming against the flow - the road less travelled - perhaps like 'salmon-people' , trying to get back to where they once belonged (The Beatles there).
I love the concept of multifaceted warrior - it takes such an approach to contest Life these days.

Yes. It gives one a strange sense of satisfaction to walk the other way in a crowd. True you will get cursed at and frowned upon..but still...atleast it is your own path and atleast you dont have to fake to fit in. Atleast you will be happy or if not, you will know whom to blame.
