I was...

I was...

A Poem by Ana B.

Take me home my chimerical dream

From these burning flames of paradise…

Don’t want to be a part of this scheme

Got enough phantoms to idolize…

Half of my heart is ashes scattered in the wind

Restlessly caressing the face of the ground…

The other half’s a lyre artfully stringed

Singing in longing for the love that I found…

Another one will heal this void.

I will forget this paradise at any cost

Even if my heart now is ‘’annoyed’’

I will stop being someone’s ghost…

What an amazing perception Ana. Loved the way you divided the heart into pieces and distributed/ scattered it.
