Dear love

Dear love

A Poem by Ana B.
"

another oldie

"

Dear love, why did you forget about me?

Imprinted with you - that’s all I want to be

You hold the world together, and you smell of flowers

You’re full warmth, peace and other pretty superpowers

I don't know what I wanna be, I just know what I don't

So please breathe a little over this heart of stone

Unlock my stupid inner self to roam

So it could calm and settle down at home

Just find me a someone to dance with in the middle of the street

Or the parking lot, as long as we'll feel each other's heat

The sky will be so bright to me then...

And i won't write more silly poems - never again

First off - Im jealous of the stylish presentation - I could print it off and it would sit in my chrome and black kitchen very well indeed !!
"pretty superpowers" - thats so cute !
Second stanza is really divine - I read it a few times - let it flow over me - gorgeous!
Aww heck - the last line - I dont know about that - thats the deal you made with Faust's devil - damn !!

This is witty, stylish, heartmelting writing Ana. More of these please (I need at least one more for the other side of the kitchen counter). ;p

Silly poems bring warmth to life...this is sweet to me like a 2 year old's soft rosy kisses.
