a wishing heart

I found a Goddess in the ruins…

When I was dreaming on the top of the world…

Her beauty more precious than any rubies

And her splendor finer than any emerald…

 

I wish I was as gentle and as gracious

As is this rainbow full of fragrant petals

Caressing and gifting purity to this mendacious

And starving dimension on so many levels

 

The secret life of daydreams…

Knocking swiftly at its door…

Even if dreams are always far it seems

I will never stop wishing, for there is so much more…

The splendour of nature shows us, when we might be feeling low, that there is so much beauty in the world despite humankinds seeming preference for the dark side of Life.
The wish stanza - I shall refer to it as thus ;) - is gorgeous.
