Placebo effectA Poem by Ana B.Afternoon
has settled down Everything
doused in amethyst So
many lives in this town… But
there’s only one that I cannot resist.
Chocolate
and cigarettes are kissing my soul Instead
of you. Mirages
and scraps of invocation keeping patrol But
I know it’s not true…
Ghosts
are reflections of our thoughts… Then
I guess you are mine. Because
my heart envisions a loss That
never existed.
