Sins

Sins

A Poem by Ana B.
"

ruffling through my old pages lately....

"

If darkness had a name

What would you call it?

Someone who could take the blame

that is yours…but you’re afraid to admit

Wicked lilies at your door

Daring you to pick them up

Tsk,tsk…this darkness…easy to adore

Drinking your tears from morality’s cup…

Ascending…descending from this debasement

Because our obstinance is leading all the time

So who gets to decide the final assessment?

And who gets to write the infinite rhyme?

You most welcome.
Ach, what is this I find before me? A lily? Now who would leave such a thing. I shall place it in water and study it closely for clues.

Thank you :)
You season the darkness with elegance and allure. She would be my lover I am certain of it! You've penned some killer lines, nuggets of truth... as always I'm rather taken with your words. R xo

If darkness had a name, I would call her, convenience, used at my need, invited at my time, and hid under when blameless. Yes, she is beautiful, I might just marry her some time

lol, clever :)
Very clever. You speak enough off of your words... with cunning-ness. There's a depth of something dark in your words though a light of shine as well which makes this write interesting reading. Wonderful poetry. Your rhythmic pattern that you always follow, sorry to say but it, is very gorgeous, of course, not more than you, Ana. Enjoyed reading it!
