Rest your head on this cloud

Full of promises and hope

Savor the life while its around

No big plans to make or ''elope''…

 

Wishing is our greatest magic

But so as our greatest enemy

Sleeplessly embracing logic

And the big stops of our destiny…

 

No heavy words can bring down

A solid faith - adorning crown

No sweet lies can make justice

For speaking the truth…so out of practice

Ahhh . . . Lies. We all lie, even to the ones we profess to love. We lie by omission, not telling each other things of our past. But these things have a way of catching up with us, and then the respect is lost forever and divorce is usually the final lie.

sometimes we spend our lives wishing and ruing for what we don't have rather than enjoying and savoring what we do...that is sad.

what was Sheryl Crow's line---
"it's not needing what you want/ it's wanting what you've got"

the logic is...that heavy words bring us down like heavy longing...and we can always lie to ourselves about who we are, what we have or what we need.
but...wishing to enjoy who we are right now? that is the trick.

It's a handy trick, that not many possess......but wisdom comes with experience, that is the price for the age......but now......at an early stage of life few wonder and ask the big questions, if ever...

Assuming elope is the word you wanted to use here, I get the feeling this is a "one party wants to move forward the other party does not story." Hopefully I am interpreting that correctly.
a minor thing, it's needs an apostrophe in this case.
