Misconduct

Misconduct

A Poem by Ana B.

She’s twenty three

Wondering how life should be…

Ignoring realities…

Befriending profanities…

If life’s full of meadows

And choice is a path…

It’s  easy to get tangled in echoes

Of  the golden age’s wrath…

Searching for the meadow still

Right after the devilry’s hill

Silent desperation, the driving wheel

A skillful thief , with nothing to steal

But when you keep being a thief

At some point ,something’s  gotta give

Right is always easier said than done

Then your poker face is fooling no one.

Dear Ana. I love your poetry.
"Searching for the meadow still

Where do you get your ideas. The poem create vision and wild thoughts. I liked the above lines. Left reader with place and possibilities. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
