I Am A Gypsy

I Am A Gypsy

A Poem by Wildflower
"

I was only in my teens when I wrote this poem. As I reflect backward, it seems to me that I was much more self aware than a modern teen.

"
I am a Gypsy, I wear beads and flowers
I like my feet browned, and bare, I walk through the open fields
Just to smell the naked air

I am A Gypsy, I collect tiny remnants
And bathe in summer showers,
I am a nomad, purely in my mind
I've traveled distance far from home
I wander all the time

Some refuse to hear me
They shun me, Just because
I am just a gypsy
I plead for peace and love!
