Too many poems

Too many poems

A Poem by Finn
"

just to many poems

"
Poems all for they are
and for all  they bring.
Why not sing a tale
of a mysterious king.
perhaps the stores are to old
maybe to boring and
covered in gold .
Too many to see
to many to read
only a few will
pick at are needs
I could tell you my
self about the
seas of lines.
Covered in numbers letters
and lines.why not bring
a book full of joy and despair.

Because no one will read
whats in are mind or hair.

Hey - I just did - looks like you're fated to write even more poems and rhymes. There can never be enough .... PS had to laugh at barleygirl's fart reference - hope the 'smell' doesn't accompany the write! :-)

I like your tongue-in-cheek commentary about all the poems. I feel my poems are like farts . . . it feels so good right after I get it out, but then it's quite forgettable after that, I'm sure. So I completely understand your sardonic way of seeing poems. There are a number of errors to the point of distraction, but your writing is mostly strong & interesting.

I enjoyed reading. I like the phrase, "Why not sing a song of a mysterious king," comparing poems to mysterious kings. Critique: Please be careful about minor misspellings of words, adding commas, periods and colons. ex, "Perhaps these stories are to old, maybe to boring and covered in gold." (Perhaps these stories are too old, maybe too boring and covered in gold.). "pick at are need," (pick at our needs). "tell you my self," (tell you myself)...and lines.why not bring.." (..and lines. Why not bring...) Reading your poem out loud a few times will help to catch and correct minor mistakes. Overall your poem is nicely expressed and written. Keep writing!
