Lost reality

Lost reality

A Story by Masey Money

My body fell numb as the quiet house filled with laughter and the figure danced across the room. Breathing is so natural yet I struggled with each breath as my eyes followed the figure from one side of the room to the other. She leaped into corner and the disappearing act has once again been demonstrated for me at the dead of night.

I fear night more than I fear death. I mean how can I fear something that creates an escape from my demons? What can you do when the demons follow you into the day and daylight is no longer an escape? What can you do when your reality becomes the very thing people consider crazy?

I swallow the pill for sanity but in return I live in madness. Just when I think iv gained my sanity back he creeps into my room to remind me sleep is for the weak. The foot of the bed is where he feels more comfort as he watches the little bit of happiness I have left drain into the night.

Hi Masey,
I have to say I had no idea that you have this kind of experience with the ADHD drug ....i am already critical of tbe drug companies taking advantage of people......I really felt your words your imagery is strong and you were able to convey your message very clearly! Powerful stuff.
