Do you?

Do you?

A Poem by Mkay C.

Despite the darkness in my heart,
Colors still shine.
Some call me unknowledgeable. Do you?
But whenever the darkness escapes
It always seems to overwhelm us.
Some call me childish. Do you?
I sit there quietly in the darkness
knowing that light will come soon.
Some call me a coward. Do you?
With courage I destroy the darkness,
and the hate, and the ignorance.
Some call me inferior. Do you?
However I spare its life,
because I know it has a reason for existing.
Some call me ignorant. Do you?
I walk away with knowledge gained,
With my diamond eyes reflecting my gaze.

Some call me normal. Do you?
