Kissed by Sunshine

As the sun kisses her face a memory crashes into her mind.

A bittersweet thought of something which was so beautiful...so true... but now gone.

A happiness which her heart grasps for... But can never reach.

The memory allows her heart to smile in the midst of her chaotic world.

And if only for that moment she knows the time was worth it, the pain is worth it... Because happiness was felt. And if she is lucky the sun will kiss her face another day.

I really liked this poem. It brought you to feel what the girl was feeling, and I think more than a few people can relate to it. The only thing I can say in criticism is to let yourself play with stanzas a bit more. Where you put the "..."s would be a great way to break into stanzas, and to let it flow better. The "..."s break the thought a little, however, if you hit enter a couple of times, the eye will naturally flow to the next line. Maybe I'm just babbling a bit, but this is my own opinion on this. ^^'
