A Bit of Jesus

A Bit of Jesus

A Poem by Yarelis Vidal
"

In God's eyes your destiny depends on weather or not you LOVE others and God the way Christ loves you. You make it to heaven not by good works, but my faith and love.

"
This isnt about your denomination
or what church you coinside with
Its about the Christ who gave his life
The one you were crucified with

This isnt about how many verses you can memorize
Or the number of your donations
this is about the Christ who rules your life
It is he who you should be craving

This isnt about what someone is wearing
Who cares how they may look
For by it's cover, we have been taught
Not to judge a book

This isn't about your religion
Or the rules someone must keep to belong
For the most important rule Christ gave, was how we should love
No matter what the other did wrong

so I sing this song of urgency
I wish no one has to live in misery
But your word says that your power manifests itself in weakness
Glory, to the world your a mystery

But this isn't about how to make people believe in you
Its about how we should love them, and entice them with this
That even the Lord has felt neglected and betrayed
When his desciple betrayed him with a kiss

We should attract them with our joyfulness
No matter whats going on, let's let
the lost become saved, by the peace that we crave
shown in the lightness to our step

You win souls with encouragement not force
Christians you can't make anyone believe us
But by our good fruits and unique way of living
We can give the world a bit of Jesus
