A Yell for Change !

A Yell for Change !

A Poem by Yarelis Vidal
"

Directed towards the warning of bing a hypocrite. How many of us YELL,"God help us" in the mist of our problems, but FAIL to even know him. I send many scriptual messages, and reference to it.

"
We praise your name on Sundays...but forget you six other days

We find it hard to obey your teachings...but easy to keep our ways

But their will be a day that comes my Lord...where people that loved you most are lifted

The ones who were given talents but called thierselves blessed...rather than "ultra-gifted"

The ones who died to the world...who blocked out desires of fame and wealth

For they knew in order to follow your walk...they would have to deny theirself

So allow me to be crucified to the world...and the world crucified in me

Let their be no room for doubt or worry...or Lust, or Filth, or Greed

Lock all gates to our soul that we left open...so that Satan can't get in

Close us in a box filled with your glory...This is the only time solitude let's you win

Now in contradiction- break us free my Lord...rip the chains around our wrist-to be percise

Although trapped in a box protected from Satan...we are still free in the light of Chrsit

Girl don't stop praising the Lord because your boyfriend isn't to...Boy don't throw a fit because your trunk won't close

We shouldn't stop no matter what we lose: Family, Health, Wealth...like the Old Testament Book of Job

And like Abraham we should have the faith of an angel...like Mary Magdelene we should kiss his feet

Like David we should praise our Lord...Like John the Baptist we should live to preach

Not everyone who says their a christian...will be reconized on that day

Remember you'll be judged for every word you speak...and careless thing you say

Let's mold our lives around Jesus...let's include him every step of the way

Because he who was and is still to come...Is still the same today

Don't get all caught up in religion...don't revolve you decisions on what the world has to say

Jesus died so that by our deeds we wouldn't be justified...but by faith we would be saved

By obidience we continue to hold onto our salvation...disobidience shows him you no longer wish to have it

And so God is right when he states noone will take it away from you...It's you who should be thankful when you grab it

Absolutely noone can take us away from Jesus...It's our own ignorance that makes us walk away

Then we set ourselves up for sorrow and depression about everything...worrying, as if to our life we could add a single day

With arms wide open he continues to take us back...with a soft heart he forgets all the we have done

But he says if we continue to repent than turn away...it's better off for us to have stayed at step 1

Spend time with your Lord alone...for he treasures your alone time together

Be like Mary Sister of Martha and put him first...Then you will have chosen what is better

Never let the world get the best of you...you may think you got far on your own but the Lord can take you farther

Don't allow anyone to provoke you to deny your Lord...for then he will deny you in front of his father

Hold fast to all he has given you...guard your hearts and the Lord won't leave us

Remember your life was fairly bought by his life...we all belong to Jesus--- he redeemed us !!!!
