Kids [ 2011]

This is why I don't hang out with you anymore.

Kids

Remember, back when we were young?

 Innocent and pure,

 no cares in the world.

Sometimes I look at those photos of us and think

‘’ Damn, look how young we looked back then

,’’ Or.. .’’ What were you wearing?’

’ We were just young kids, playing on the playground

. And now were teenagers, trying to gain freedom and be ourselves

, prepare for adult hood.

But now, you’re gone.

Those gorgeous green eyes I once knew,

they faded and lost their luster.

You’re not the person I used to know, you’ve changed

. Maybe if you stopped doing drugs, things would be different.

& now you’re gone.

Forever from my mind.

This isn’t what I wanted

But people change

And all I have to say is, maybe you’ll learn your lesson

When you end up on that hospital bed and I’ll sit here and laugh at you
